Impacts
VMware’s End-User Computing (EUC) is now a separate business unit within Broadcom, which allows the business to narrow its product focus to EUC.
Customers are now required to procure EUC products and services separately from any other Broadcom and VMware offerings, and as a result, customers with enterprise agreements containing small EUC volumes will have reduced leverage for those separated EUC negotiations. Vice versa, customers with large EUC volumes and low volumes of non EUC products can also expect reduced leverage for the non EUC products.
