The November 2023 Life Science Research Panel Survey highlights:
A substantial 81% of life science executives believe large language models (LLMs) will have a significant impact on the industry. However, only 60% believe LLMs will have a commensurate impact on their own organizations.
Life science organizations show an increased willingness to pilot generative AI (GenAI) use cases. From July to November 2023, there was a noticeable increase in designating a strategic GenAI lead, policies, development and funding.
Scientific (81%), commercialization (74%) and regulatory (72%) are the top business areas where life science organizations have already implemented or are exploring the implementation
