Supply chain risk and resiliency initiatives play a significant role in maintaining the quality and reliability of patient care. According to the 2023 Gartner Risk and Resiliency for Healthcare Survey, 56% of healthcare providers are building a risk management strategy with a focus on the risk function within the supply chain and implementing several initiatives.
Investments in risk and resiliency have increased in the healthcare supply chain during the later years of the COVID-19 pandemic.
