In the 2024 Gartner CIO and Technology Executive Survey,only 9% of technology leaders interviewed said their organization had deployed generative AI (GenAI). This pace of adoption is not fast enough to defend general manager (GM) offerings in key markets. In the rush to use GenAI, GMs have not offered explicit guidance, resulting in generic use cases. This trend has been exacerbated by a lack of investment in retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) models that help to train large language models (LLMs) and improve internal content to support customers in a more personalized way.
