Maria is an Executive Partner for the Gartner for Chief Sales Officers community--also known as the "CSO Whisperer" for her thought partnership to the seniormost in commercial organizations. In this role, she partners with those privileged to create executable work plans to deliver mission critical priorities while challenging paradigms, politics and the world as it used to be. This also involves curating Gartner content to the individual needs of the leader and linking that person to a network of other commercial leaders for powerful diversity of thought. Maria is also the Team Leader of the CSO Executive Partner Team.
Maria spent 33 years with DuPont. The last 10 of those years were leading the sales function for the Safety & Construction portfolio ($6B). As a proven business leader and sales executive, she has created, lead, motivated, coached and challenged global teams to achieve excellence. This has included management of strategic multinational accounts, the channels to access them, the sales teams that call on them and the functions that support them. Maria has a proven capability to apply business and marketing strategy to sales execution. She built her career on exceptional communication skills, the ability to build world class sales teams and an unprecedented track record of profitable revenue growth.
Certified in advanced negotiations, channel management and the CEB's Challenger Training, Maria leads by example by living these best practices, by personally training her teams in them and by delivering successfully within their framework.
