Sue Grant is a Director Analyst in Gartner's Supply Chain Planning team. She advises Supply Chain Planning Leaders on planning process improvement, planning organization design and planning performance management. Her research focuses on supply chain capacity planning, including rough cut capacity planning in mid-term and long-term capacity planning. She also has an interests in supply chain planning in Non-Profit Organizations in disaster relief and public health field. She is a native speaker of Mandarin and offers client interactions in both English and Mandarin.
Prior to join Gartner, Ms. Grant was Sr Supply Chain Planning Manager at Medtronic. She led both global and regional demand planning and supply planning teams implementing and improving Sales & Operations Planning, Integrated Business Planning, rough cut capacity planning, and Sales & Operations Execution processes. Before that, Ms. Grant was Sr Supply Chain Analyst at Eaton Corporation focusing on material segmentation and inventory optimization.
Before Ms. Grant obtained her MBA with the concentration in supply chain management, she worked eight years in China and Asia on inventory planning, production planning, and capacity planning in chemicals industry (Dow Chemicals, Ciba Specialty Chemicals) and consumer goods industry (Kohler).
