Climate change is constantly disrupting supply chains. Yet, 11% of CSCOs don’t see it as a risk and are reluctant to invest in risk monitoring, scenario modeling and climate change response.
But the Gartner 2022 Emerging Priorities in Supply Chain Survey finds that 72% of CSCOs do recognize climate change impacts on supply chain strategy, particularly the impact of environmental disruptions.
To respond to climate change impacts and avoid the worst of this future disruption, CSCOs must determine how to implement both short-term and long-term supply chain and organizational strategies.
