Network infrastructure market share declined in 2023 compared with 2022, due to lower investment in legacy infrastructure and despite increased revenue generated by 5G investment. However, the decline was offset by growth in fiber deployments.
Operations applications witnessed an increase in market share in 2023 compared with 2022, mostly led by continued operations support system (OSS) and business support system (BSS) simplification and modernization efforts. Some such costs were offset by automation adoption by these vendors.
