Evgeny Mirolyubov is a Senior Director Analyst in the Endpoint Security team, researching endpoint detection and response technology, markets, and trends. He is responsible for endpoint protection platforms (EPP), endpoint detection and response (EDR), and extended detection and response (XDR) technology. Evgeny utilizes his technical background to help clients improve their security posture, protect against malware and ransomware attacks, implement best practices, and make strategic technology investments. Evgeny's experience in operations, consulting, and various product management roles, overlaid with his experience working with client organizations in Europe, Asia, and North America, offers a valuable perspective to support the needs of Gartner's clients.
Before joining Gartner, Mr. Mirolyubov served as a Technical Solutions Architect within Cisco's Security Operations practice where he was responsible for technical sales, technical marketing, and sales enablement activities. He conducted technical workshops, led in-depth product evaluations, and prepared product messaging. Mr. Mirolyubov was also responsible for gathering and analyzing worldwide customer and partner requirements to provide actionable insights to Cisco's product management team and drive product improvement.
