Michael Katz joined Gartner in 2021 and serves as a Research Director for Gartner's Sales Research Practice. In his current role, Mr. Katz guides complex research efforts, addressing challenges facing sales leaders and their teams. He collaborates with the peer and practitioner research team to generate actionable business ideas and data-driven insights.
Prior to coming to Gartner, Mr. Katz worked for over twelve years managing program evaluations, research studies, consulting engagements and technical assistance with federal agencies and commercial clients.
In his previous work, Mr. Katz Directed and managed a team of researchers on large scale mixed methods research and evaluation studies with federal agencies (e.g., Department of Education, Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Defense, Internal Revenue Service) and corporate partners (e.g. American Bankers Association).
