Audit committees (ACs) want chief audit executives (CAEs) more closely involved with strategic initiatives, yet only 37% of CAEs spend their time supporting organizational initiatives.
62% of CAEs aspire to be “strategic executives,” but only 26% say they are considered as such.
CAEs often miss the opportunity to enhance their strategic profile and increase their influence across the business because they are not intentional about developing their personal brand.
