As a Director Analyst in Gartner's HR practice, I help CHROs and HR leaders improve the effectiveness and impact of their organizations. My research focuses on strategic planning, workforce measurement, HR effectiveness, and navigating the opportunities and challenges created by a rapidly evolving business and technology environment. I also cover the HR transformation consulting market and the role external partners play in enabling organizational change.
Through my work, I help organizations identify practical approaches to workforce and organizational challenges. I advise clients on topics including HR strategy, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, employee listening, people analytics, and AI's growing role in the future of HR.
Prior to becoming a Gartner analyst, I served as a Program Director at Evanta, where I supported executive communities and leadership programs for C-Suite leaders from large global organizations. Earlier in my career, I spent nearly a decade at Progressive Insurance conducting complex claims and fraud investigations, developing a disciplined approach to evidence-based decision making, problem solving, and stakeholder management. I also served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, where I developed the leadership, accountability, and operational mindset that continue to influence my work today. Together, these experiences shaped my approach to navigating ambiguity, building trust, and helping leaders address complex organizational challenges.
