An analysis of earnings calls since 2010 shows that culture is by far the most discussed talent issue. In fact, mentions of culture have increased annually by 12%. Frequent headlines about organizational culture are also spurring more public discussion of culture’s criticality to a business’s reputation and, ultimately, to its success.

Despite this, only 31% of HR leaders agree their organizations have the necessary culture to drive future business performance.  

We found that the key differentiator underlying cultural performance is not choosing a particular culture, but rather getting employees to demonstrate the culture the organization needs, whatever that might be.
