Click-Through Rate (CTR)

The click-through rate (CTR) is a measure that refers to the number of times a webpage advertisement is clicked, compared to the number of times it is displayed. Royalties are often based on CTR. This term is also used in reference to a website’s ability to persuade a visitor to “click through” to another site.
