Home Server

Home servers are used to aggregate storage on consumer home networks. Although similar to less-expensive home network-attached storage (NAS) devices, home servers are more sophisticated devices geared to aggregating a broader range of services on a home network. These services center on storage/media streaming (e.g., music, photos and videos) and home PC backup, but also include Internet gateway services, as well as remote access to home PCs.
