Joe Mariano is a Research Director for the Employee Experience Technology team at Gartner. He helps clients as they transition and maintain their cloud office services such as Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. Joe has helped hundreds of Gartner clients establish cloud office strategies as well as identity use cases to help drive the value of their cloud office services.
Mr. Mariano has more than 12 years of experience in information governance, ECM and records management. He was previously a system analyst for Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceutics. Coming from a pharmaceutics background, he understands the challenges faced by industries that are heavily regulated. He has been a project manager on several validated records management and ECM solution implementations, and he created and has advised on policies regarding information management, protection and security. In addition, he has created employee engagement training to ensure both solutions and processes are understood.
He has presented at industry events regarding system implementation, information protection and engaging training for end users.
