The current economy makes it increasingly difficult for IT organizations to quantify technology investments from a cost and value standpoint. CEOs and CFOs are pushing IT departments to better manage the portfolio of technology investments and asking for better visibility into priorities and decisions made by the organization. The creation of a Program Management Office (PMO) is quickly becoming the answer to the problem.
